Engaged Athlete Fellowship

We invite all athletes to apply to The Team’s 2024-2025 Engaged Athlete Fellowship Cohort. We are looking for student-athletes who are ready to make a difference, develop leadership skills, and build their network and resume. Fellows will receive a $3,000 stipend for the program and a $1,000 project stipend. Fellows will also attend an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C.! Explore the program page and apply at the link below. Share this application with your team, Athletic Department, and any individuals who may be interested.

Coaches and Administrators Pledge

In an effort to integrate nonpartisan civic engagement into college athletics, the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), and The Team have put together the 2024 Coaches’ Pledge. The program provides coaches, administrators, and their student-athletes with nonpartisan resources focused on voter registration and civic engagement.

Civic Kick-Off Call

In 2022, Stephen Curry, Dr. Condoleezza Rice, and Coach Tara VanDerveer spoke with 2,000+ student-athletes about how to make an impact beyond their sport. 26 teams gathered across 17 states and ate 250 pizzas, while learning from some of the top people in their respective fields. We plan to hold a similar event this year, Sunday, September 9, one week before National Voter Registration Day, with even greater reach. We will work with Pizza to the Polls to organize civic tailgating watch parties across the country with free pizza.

Civic Holidays

The Team focuses on key moments like civic holidays to promote voter registration and participation among athletes, coaches, and administrators on campus and online. Key civic holidays include National Voter Registration Day (September 17), Vote Early Day (October 29), and All Vote No Play Day (November 5, Election Day). The Team will provide online resources, event support, and a social media toolkit to prepare teams and athletic departments for each of these days.
