OUR IMPACT

The Team has directly engaged over 250,000 individuals and over 400 athletic departments

Since 2020, we have directly engaged hundreds of thousands of athletes, coaches, and administrators through community events, civic partnerships, and athletics-focused resources.

**Direct engagement means an athlete, coach, or administrator took an intentional step to become more civically engaged, either digitally or in person, through The Team’s resources, programs, or events.

Student Athlete Testimonials

“Being a part of this kind of organization is extremely inspiring... listening in on my peers' ideas throughout the country only motivates me to continue staying civically engaged and giving back to my community.”

-Sami Osmani, Creighton University Basketball, 2023-2024 Fellow

“I’m most proud of how many people helped and encouraged me with the events. It was rewarding to see people come together, get informed and feel empowered to participate in the voting process.”

-Mikayla Duncan, Detroit Mercy University Soccer, 2024 Civic Captain

“As a civic captain at Lincoln University, my role has allowed me to inspire fellow students to recognize the importance of their voices in the democratic process. I’ve fostered a sense of community on my campus.
