The Commodores Care Challenge was a
year-long competition among Vanderbilt
student-athletes to see which team can
contribute the most hours to community
service. Born from the idea that athletes
thrive on competition, the challenge
aimed to incentivize more students to get
involved in their community. By tapping
into the competitive spirit of student-
athletes, the challenge highlighted the
profound impact that service can have in
making a difference in the lives of others.
This year, Vanderbilt student-athletes
contributed over 1,500 hours, over 3x
more than they did the prior year.
