We had the chance to hear from CNN correspondent and former Northwestern basketball player Omar Jimenez. In the second half of the program we walked through the DC agenda and went through the final stipend requirements.

As we wrap-up Lisa Kay Solomon's leadership curriculum, we took a look back on all we've learned as leaders & citizens, visionaries, influencers, and motivators, and all those inspiring guest speakers who embody these concepts in the real world.  Additionally, we had the chance to hear from Matt Ginn and Alison Walshe, two former stand out collegiate athletes turned professionals. 

February 25, 2024

For the final pillar of our leadership curriculum,  the engaged athlete as motivator, we had the privilege of hearing from Joe Flanagan, member of The Team's Executive Committee. Joe  offered us professional development insight based on all that he's learned during his time building and selling companies, while balancing a notable philanthropic commitment.

January 24, 2024

Chase Griffin, athlete advisor to The Team,  played an integral role in our fellowship and rebrand launches . During our first meeting the semester Chase touched on a range of relevant and timely topics, namely his recent appearance in Washington, D.C. and the future of NIL.

November 19, 2023

On the November call, we got a chance to learn about what it means to be 'Visionary:' thinking BIG for your work as an engaged athlete!  We had the privilege of hearing from Athlete's Unlimited's Cassidy Lichtman and Jazmyn Jackson on what it's like to be on the cutting edge of the first professional women's sports league in America.  Additionally, during the meeting we brainstormed ways to make the D.C. October 15, 2023

On the October 15th call, we got a chance to hear about All Vote No Play Day initiatives  from  inspiring fellow cohort members followed by an opportunity to bounce AVNP Day ideas off each other. Next, we shared and workshopped the year-long projects together in breakouts.  Finally, the leadership team shared important Fellowship Updates, including social media and MOU details.
